About our candles

What are Flieger Fields candles made of?

Our handmade soy candles and scented candles are made from high-quality natural soy wax. Each candle is made in a small batch with attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Where can I find the ingredients and allergen information?

Full information on ingredients, allergens and warnings can be found on the candle label and on the product page. If you are allergic or have any concerns, write to us at biuro@fliegerfields.com before purchasing.

How long does a candle burn?

Candles from the Rytm Pola collection (net weight 230 g) burn for about 50 hours. The burn time and net weight of other candles are given on the product page. The actual burn time depends on how the candle is used, including the length of each burn and wick trimming.

Is every Flieger Fields candle handmade?

Yes. Flieger Fields makes handmade candles inspired by the rhythm of nature in our family workshop in Bolewice, in the Greater Poland region.

Are the vessels reusable?

Yes. We design our candles so that once burned, the vessel can get a second life as a decorative item or be refilled with a Refill insert.

How do I prepare the vessel for refilling with a Refill insert?

Before refilling, wash the vessel thoroughly and let it dry. Do not reuse a vessel that is cracked or damaged (the vessels are made of plaster). Detailed refilling instructions will be included with the insert.

Use and care

How do I burn a candle properly?

On the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the vessel. This helps the candle burn evenly throughout its life.

How long should a single burn last?

We recommend burning the candle for 2 to 4 hours at a time.

Should I trim the wick?

Yes. Before each subsequent use, it is a good idea to trim the wick to about 5 mm.

How do I use the candle safely?

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep the candle away from children, pets and flammable materials.
  • Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Do not move a burning candle.
  • Extinguish the candle when about 1 cm of wax remains.
  • The plaster vessel gets hot while burning, so do not touch it until it has cooled down.

Are Flieger Fields candles a good gift?

Yes. Flieger Fields limited collections are often chosen as a housewarming gift, a gift for nature lovers or an elegant present for special occasions.

Orders and delivery

Are the candles available all year round?

Not always. Flieger Fields operates on a Limited Drops model. This means that individual collections are available in limited quantities. In the future we plan to create a series of candles available every day.

How long does order fulfilment take?

We prepare every order with the utmost care. Detailed information about the current fulfilment time is provided when placing the order.

What delivery options are available?

We ship orders via InPost. Available delivery methods and their costs are shown in the cart when placing the order.

Where do Flieger Fields candles ship from?

We ship our handmade soy candles from Bolewice in the Greater Poland region, near Nowy Tomyśl and Poznań.

Payments and returns

What payment methods can I use?

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. You can pay by payment card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay, and for orders with a Polish address also by BLIK. The available methods are shown in the cart.

Can I return my order?

Yes. As a consumer you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. Details and the model form can be found in our refund policy.

Rytm Pola Collection

How do the Świt, Zenit and Zmierzch scents differ?

Each scent was created as an interpretation of a different moment of the day and a different mood:

  • Świt (Dawn) – lightness and the beginning of the day.
  • Zenit (Zenith) – full light and energy.
  • Zmierzch (Twilight) – calm and the stillness of the evening.

What is the Rytm Pola Triptych?

It is a set containing all three scents of the Rytm Pola collection: Świt, Zenit and Zmierzch.

QR code and extra experience

Where does the QR code on the candle lead?

The QR code leads to an online space we have prepared in connection with the collection. Currently it leads to a dedicated playlist that complements the atmosphere of the scent.
